Jewellery care
Two lines, two different metals underneath — so they want two different habits. Every product page names the material for that piece.
Start with what it is made of
Ethnic Riwayaat & The Bridal Edit
- Keep these away from water, perfume and lotion — the polish is what dulls first.
- Wipe after wearing, and let the piece dry fully before it goes away.
- Give each piece its own pouch. Open air is what tarnishes brass.
- Jewellery on last when you dress, off first at night.
Stones, pearls and enamel
- Hand-set stones
- Kundan, polki-style crystals and cubic zirconia are glued or bezel-set. Do not soak them — water loosens the setting over time.
- Faux and shell pearls
- These scratch more easily than metal. Keep them away from anything with a hard edge, and never rub them.
- Meenakari enamel
- Enamel chips on impact. Lay these flat rather than dropping them into a box with everything else.
A two-minute clean
- Dry cloth firstA soft, dry cloth lifts sweat and dust. Nine times out of ten this is all a plated piece needs.
- Only if it needs moreA barely damp cloth, a drop of mild soap, one wipe. Nothing soaked, nothing scrubbed.
- Dry it fullyPat it dry and leave it out for a few minutes before it goes back in its pouch.

All four strip plating and dull enamel. They are made for solid metal, not for plated jewellery.
If the plating does fade
Every piece carries a 1-year plating warranty. If the plating fails within a year of normal wear, email support@pabeena.in with your order number and a photo of the piece, and we will sort it.
Exchanges stay open for 7 days from delivery on anything unworn and in its original packaging. And if you are unsure about a piece — whether it can go in water, how to store it — message us on WhatsApp. It is quicker than guessing.
